So Elle was in Chicago all week for work and was actually able to have some pretty tasty Paleo food! A pizza with crust made out of sausage; a salad with chicken, mango, and avocado, and steak topped with shrimp and brussels and bacon on the side. For the pizza, it was actually a standard Italian restaurant that had a gluten-free pizza on the menu which was fantastic! Just goes to prove that it is possible to eat Paleo even when not at home 🙂
So Elle went out to breakfast on Thursday morning for a work colleague’s last day. The menu was filled with pancakes, bagels, english muffins, waffles, and biscuits. After scanning the menu for a few, she realized that ordering a la carte was probably the safest bet. Her order consisted of the following: sausage, plain greek yogurt with strawberries and blue berries (hold the granola!), and bacon wrapped asparagus covered in hollandaise. It was SO yummy! It just goes to show that you can find a lot of Paleo options when out to eat as well.
